 Dr Diane McDonald
Dr Diane McDonald,  is an expert in the innovative and effective use of ICT with over 25 years experience within education and related sectors. She is an experienced applied researcher and project leader with extensive experience of innovative use of ICT, identifying benefits and barriers to new ICT and developing effective implementation and engagement strategies. She has a strong interest in individual and organisational development related to use of ICT in learning and teaching, research, knowledge exchange and library and professional services. She is particularly interested in evolving working practices, organisational effectiveness and digital and critical literacies. Key recent projects include: 
In addition to her research and consultancy activities, Diane is also involved in the design and delivery of continuing professional and organisational development relating to innovative and effective use of ICT.

Diane has held senior Innovation and Network & Security management positions within the Higher Education sector. She is a qualified academic teacher as well as a certified Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner and highly experienced Project Manager and Director.  She is also a research associate of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Strathclyde.
