We are currently undertaking projects focussed on the economic and social impact of a number of UK Universities and Colleges of Further and Higher Education.

Viewforth Consulting was  commissioned by Universities UK to produce the fifth economic impact of  UK higher education report.  Launched on 3rd April, the  final report is available here.


 Viewforth Director Ursula Kelly and Associate Emeritus Professor Iain McNicoll co-authored all four previous reports for Universities Uk, including the fourth report which was launched in the Houses of Parliament in 2009. See copy of  fourth report here and video of 2009 launch here.)

Viewforth Consulting was also   commissioned by Universities UK to produce the second  report on the economic impact of higher education in the English Regions

 Viewforth Director Ursula Kelly and Associate Emeritus Professor Iain McNicoll co-authored the first report on higher education and the English regions, which was published in 2010. See copy of the first report here.

Economic and social valuation and impact  advisory work

Providing advice and support to the JISC Digital Innovation Team on piloting a holistic approach to the economic valuation of  a number of potentially transformational infrastructure developments providing new digital resources for UK higher education.
 
Providing advice and support to Jisc Futures Team on improving the assessment of the impact and valuation of Jisc work

  
Providing advice and support to Oxford Brookes University Law School on some aspects of  Research Impact Analysis.
